Burak Dalgın is a Member of Turkish Parliament for Balıkesir and Vice Chairman of IYI Party responsible for economic policy.
Mr. Dalgın spent two decades in business in various geographies. He worked in early stage technology investing at Koç Group in Turkey;did management consulting at McKinsey & Co. in the USA;and managed two private equity/ debt funds initially under Franklin Templeton and later for a company he co-founded in Central and Eastern Europe. One of his investments is taught as a case study at Harvard Business School.
He was an international scholar for Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) and is an Eisenhower Fellow. Mr. Dalgın is a published author of two historical fiction books.
He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
