23 years of professional experience. Architect Engineer, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH, 2001 – Honors), MSc in Urban Design, University College London (UCL, 2002). Holder of professional licenses for Spatial Planning Studies (01A) and Urban Planning Studies (02B). He has served as lead consultant and coordinator of multidisciplinary teams for the preparation of spatial and urban planning studies related to: the implementation of strategic projects, the development of major real estate assets, the approval-revision and evaluation of Special and Local Urban Plans as well as Detailed Urban Plans, carrying capacity assessments, urban regeneration projects, and the formulation and evaluation of planning and regulatory frameworks.
He has been a member of Legislative Drafting Committees of the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MoEE) for Law 4495/2017 on the Transfer of Development Rights and for the revision of Law 2508/1997 on Urban Regeneration.
He is an active member of the Council of: the Institutional Framework, ELLINIKI ETAIRIA-Society for the Environment and Cultural Heritage (ELLET) (Vice President), the Scientific Council of the Institute of Local Government (ITA), EEDIPOX, SEPOCH, the Legal Team of WWF Greece, and the Greek chapter of MENSA.
He has participated in academic journals, scientific conferences, voluntary initiatives and actions, and has authored articles on issues related to tourism development, urban resilience, climate change adaptation, and the mitigation of natural disasters through spatial planning.
