Speaker Bio

Mr. Paschalis Bouchoris is DESFA’s Non–Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Bouchoris has 30 years of international experience in asset management, corporate banking, and strategic advisory. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held senior leadership positions at leading organizations in both the public and private sectors, across Europe and the Middle East. Over the past decade, he served as Managing Director at BlackRock, most recently holding the position of Head of BlackRock for the Middle East, based in Dubai. He remains a Senior Advisor to BlackRock, providing advisory services in the asset management sector. In the past, he has also held executive roles at National Bank of Greece, served as CEO of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF), Executive General Manager of Intracom, and worked as a strategy consultant at Monitor Company in New York. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management.
