George Karameros is a journalist, politician and communication specialist. Candidate Member of the Greek parliament with SYRIZA party at Eastern Attica region.
He studied Journalism and Marketing in Athens and Sunderland while very soon he came in contact with the political Ecology movements. He holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Sunderland and has been a member of ESIEA since 2002. He has been working for tv stations for 25 years and has given daily input as a political commentator. He served as Deputy Regional Head of the Northern Sector of Athens in the period 2014 - 2019. He also collaborated with the Cultural Organization of the Municipality of the Tribe "Parnitha" but also the Directorate of Environment for ecological issues while he continues to collaborate with the Municipality of Fili and companies in matters of communication. He has taught journalism at the ANT1 media lab and continues at Homer schools. He is married to the conservator of antiquities and works of art Tania Ghiosi who is also involved in marketing and communication. They have two children together, Panagiotis and Efi.
