Speaker Bio
Eulalia Rubio is Senior Research Fellow on EU economic affairs at the Jacques Delors Institute in Paris and Associate Senior Research Fellow in the Economic Policy Unit at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) in Brussels. A political scientist by training, she has fifteen years of experience working in EU think tanks on topics related to EU public finances and EU investment policies. Her main field of expertise being the EU budget and EU budgetary policies, she regularly provides research and advisory services to EU and national institutions on this topic. She holds a PhD from the European University Institute (Florence) and a Master’s degree in Public and Social Policy from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona). She has also served as Associate Professor at the Department of Political and Social Sciences of Universitat Pompeu Fabra and at the European School of Political and Social Sciences (ESPOL) in Lille.
