Antonis Markopoulos is a highly accomplished professional with over 25 years of diverse experience, representing a unique fusion of academic excellence, top corporate management, policy development for the Greek tech landscape, and entrepreneurship. He earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from NTUA and has played a pivotal role in shaping the Greek startup ecosystem, notably by launching the first Tech Early Stage Funds (Jeremie Funds) in collaboration with the EIF in 2011. During this time, he managed a substantial structural fund of €1.5 billion, laying the groundwork for the country’s current digital transformation. His corporate leadership journey includes significant achievements in top management roles at multinational companies like Intralot, where he served as Managing Director, overseeing 10 subsidiaries and more than 300 employees across Oceania and Asia while driving innovation and strategic growth. Recently, he ventured into entrepreneurship by founding Prosperty, a company aimed at revolutionizing the real estate industry through technology and data. Over the past four years, Prosperty has become a key player in the regional real estate market, offering an innovative B2B SaaS solution for institutional asset managers and launching two B2C platforms—Digital Agency and Digital Mortgage—in Greece and Cyprus.
