Ms. Irene Sharpe graduated with honors from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is Honorary President Emeritus of the Greek Council of State.During her career at the Council of State, she dealt, inter alia, with tax, competition law and public procurement law cases and she also served as Deputy President of the Fourth Chamber and as President of the Second Chamber of the Supreme Court. Furthermore, she served as President of the Supreme Special Court under Article 100 of the Greek Constitution and as President of the Special Court under Article 88 (2) of the Constitution.She taught at the National School of Judges for fourteen years and chaired its Board of Directors in her capacity as President of the Council of State.
