Speaker Bio

George Mourooutis (Athens, 1972) is a publisher and journalist, Founder & General Manager of popular web portal ThePresident.gr and head of Athens Bookstore Publications. He has worked in senior positions at communication companies (McCann Erickson, BBDO) at Media (Liberal.gr, En Lefko), at the Ministry of Culture (Director of Communication 2009), and at the Prime Minister's Office ( Director of Communication 2012-2015). He has studied Marketing, History, Archaeology & Political Science. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Foundation for Books and Culture.
