Maria Samolada began her career in 2000 and has worked across all fields of journalism and media. Today, she produces and hosts the daily news Radio Show "#Thessaloniki_mou_kalimera" on City 106.1 FM. She also serves as Head of the Press Office at "NOESIS" and "INΑB/CERTH", moderates conferences, is the founder of Samtimes.gr, and oversees the journalistic editing of the newspaper of the Thessaloniki Police Officers’ Union, “The Voice of Police Officers.” She has been honored with the Journalism Award of the "Botsis Foundation" for her work on the prevention, response, and fight against school and cyber bullying, as well as for her involvement with LiveWithoutBullying.com. She continues her social engagement and contribution through ParentsWE. She was born in Thessaloniki, where she continues to live and work by choice. She is a mother of one child and a member of the Journalists’ Union of Daily Newspapers of Macedonia–Thrace.
