Antonis Sroiter

Antonis Sroiter was born in 1974 in Athens. He is married and the father of two children.

Since March 2009, he has been the main presenter of the Alpha TV newscast. Since September 2012, he has also presented the investigative television show, “Autopsy”. At the same time, he works as editor-in-chief of the Sunday newspaper “Proto Thema”.

He started his career in 1993 from the newspaper “Apogevmatini” as a reporter. As part of his work, he covered military conflicts and important events abroad while carrying out journalistic missions in many regions of the country. Since 1996, he has been working at the same time in the financial newspaper “Isotimia”, as a financial reporter and editor of IT and new technologies.

He has collaborated with the magazines “Click” and “Crash”, the financial magazines “Know How”, “Forum” and “Arena”, with the TV station “Star”, with “Thema Radio” and also with the magazine of the “European Union” in Greece.

In 2018, he was awarded the top journalistic distinction in Greece, the “Botsi” Foundation award, for his presence in the newscast and the successful TV show.

He is a graduate of the School of "Anavryta" and a final student of the "Department of Greek Culture" of the University of Patras. He speaks English and German.
