Speaker Bio

Roland Werner has been with Uber since 2016 and serves as Senior Director of Government Affairs & Policy. He is responsible for political communications in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as in Eastern and Southern Europe. From 2009 to 2014, he was State Secretary at the Saxon State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labor, and Transport. Prior to that, Werner worked in the German Bundestag for Dr. Wolfgang Gerhardt and Dr. Guido Westerwelle.
