George Sakkas studied sociology at Panteion University. He has been working as a journalist since 1996 for a number of publications, reporting initially on the financial and business sector. For the last 14 years, he has been mainly reporting on subjects concerning Health Policy and Economics, as the sector has proven to be a unique challenge in recent years for journalists due to the Economic crisis and the Covid-29 Pandemic. Some of the media outlets he has worked for include To Vima, Imerisia and Nautemporiki newspapers, as well as News247.gr, Ygeiamou.gr, Kathimerini.gr and tovima.gr . Furthermore, he has collaborated with several magazines and other special publications.
