Born in Buenos Aires. She studied Business Administration (BSc, Deree College) and Economics (MSc, London School of Economics). She worked as a financial analyst for two years in the Short-Term Economic Forecasting Department of the then, Ministry of Coordination and now Ministry of Economics & Finance and for five years in the Economic Research Department of the Bank of Greece. She joined MYTILINEOS Group in 1990, where she developed the Group’s Corporate Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility functions as BoD executive member. She now serves as Special Advisor to the Executive Chairman of “METLEN Energy & Metals”. She has been elected as member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) 2012-2014 and member of the SEV General Council since 2014 to date. From 2000 to 2010 she served the Municipality of Athens, as elected Municipal Councilor and Deputy Mayor. Member BoD of American Hellenic Chamber of Commerce since 2013 to date and member of its Cultural Committee. She joined as BoD member the newly established “United Nations Global Compact Greek Network”, (UNGCNG) the first global initiative for the sustainability for businesses and elected as its President in June 2024. She is a founding member of the NGO “Friends of Children with Cancer” (“ELPIDA”) as well as the “Transparency International - Greece” Network.
