 Born on November 14, 1983 in Atyrau. He graduated from Tomsk State University in 2006 with degrees in Finance and Credit, and Linguistics and Intercultural Communication. In 2010, he received a master's degree in applied economics from the University of Michigan under the Bolashak program. Career He began his career in 2005 as a leading specialist in the Department of Internal Administration, Department of International Relations of the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MEBP). From 2006 to 2010, he worked as an expert and chief expert in the Department of Investment Policy and Planning of MEBP and Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MEDT). Since 2010, he held the positions of the Head of the Strategic Research Division of the Department of Strategic Planning and Analysis in the MEDT and Deputy Director of the Department of Budget Policy and Planning at the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan. In February 2013, he was appointed a Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Geology and Subsoil Use of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, and from June 2013 to April 2019 he worked as a Deputy Head of the Center for Strategic Research and Analysis, Deputy Head of the Department for Socio-Economic Monitoring of the Executive office of the President. From April 2019 to February 2021, he served as a Deputy Head of the Analytical Department of the Office of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In February 2021, he became a Vice Minister of National Economy, and from January 2022 to February 2024 served as a Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
