Vasilis Chatzikos

Dr. Vasilis Chatzikos, Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Greece and Country Head of Digital Industries, joined Siemens in 2016 and assumed the CEO role on February 1, 2022, bringing together deep engineering expertise, commercial leadership, and a strategic focus on technology‑driven transformation. A PhD graduate of the University of Sheffield specializing in Iterative Learning Control, he began his career as a field engineer and progressed through senior roles in management, sales, and marketing, shaping a holistic view of how advanced automation and digital innovation can redefine industrial performance. Today, he leads Siemens Greece’s efforts to accelerate Industrial AI adoption, intelligent manufacturing, and data‑empowered operations across the country’s industrial and infrastructure sectors. He also serves as President of the Hellenic Institute of Electrical Technology, and sits on the boards of Appliances Recycling S.A., the General Council of SEV, and the MBA Advisory Board of the University of Athens, actively contributing to national initiatives that promote innovation, skills development, and sustainable technological progress.
