Dr. Marina-Lyda Coutarelli is a pioneer in strategic communication and sports tourism, recognized for her commitment to excellence and innovation. As the Founder and President of the Spetses mini Marathon, she celebrates 15 years of transforming a local race into Greece’s premier award-winning multi-sport event. Under her leadership, the marathon has become a global benchmark for sustainable tourism development and a catalyst for the local economy. As the CEO of Communication Lab, Dr. Coutarelli manages high-stakes crisis management, Corporate Communications Public Relations and Influencer Marketing for major multinational brands. Her work has earned over 40 prestigious awards, including European Business Award and International PR Awards. Dr. Coutarelli holds a PhD in Communication Management from the University of Oxford and a degree in Political Science and Communication from Brown University.
