Andreas Mantis has over 14 years of experience in Retail Banking and International Networks at Alpha Bank. Since 2019, as Head of Merchant Acquiring, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the electronic payments landscape in Greece, with a strong focus on eCommerce. He led the business and commercial workstream and was a key member of the strategic taskforce overseeing the carve-out of the merchant acquiring sector and contributed to the establishment of Nexi Payments Greece, where he served as Chief Business Officer until December 2023. Since 2024, he has been Head of Business Development and Innovation at DIAS S.A., Greece’s Automated Clearing House (ACH), driving strategic growth and innovation. He is also an active working group member of the European Mobile Payment Systems Association (EMPSA). He holds a BSc in European Business and an MA in International Business Economics from Anglia Ruskin University.
