Katia Stathaki is a visionary and results-oriented business leader with a track record in driving sustainable growth, transforming organizations, and delivering shareholder value across complex and competitive markets . She is currently serving as the CEO of Nexi Greece, where she leads Nexi Greece strategic direction in the rapidly evolving digital payments industry. In this role, she is driving innovation, strengthening customer engagement, and positioning Nexi as a key player in Greece’s financial technology landscape. During her career, she has held senior executive roles in the telecommunications sector, where she consistently demonstrated strategic acumen, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to customer experience and innovation. Her leadership was focused on achieving market leadership, reversing performance trends, and spearheading digital transformation initiatives. As CEO of Vodafone Albania, she led to the return of the company to market dominance, secured major public sector contracts, and fostered a high-engagement, agile organizational culture. She has also contributed at board level in Vodafone Germany for many years. Katia’s educational background includes an MBA from Henley Management College and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from NTUA, complemented by advanced executive development programs. She brings a global perspective and a proven ability to navigate regulatory landscapes, drive business turnarounds, and build high-performing teams.
