Speaker Bio

Thanos Papadimitriou is Chair of Pharos AI Factory SA, one of the seven EU AI Factories and Greece’s national AI accelerator, where he helps shape the country’s AI infrastructure and innovation ecosystem. He is also Co-foudner and Chair of Moveo AI, an advanced agent-as-a-service platform operating across Europe, Brazil, and the United States. An active investor, he is Co-Founder of Charge Ventures in New York, which has backed more than 70 technology startups, and Founder of Mbriyo Ventures, a hybrid fund and venture studio focused on very early-stage AI investments. Previously, he served as CEO of PNOĒ, recognized by the Financial Times as one of the fastest-growing companies in the Americas. He is Adjunct Professor at NYU Stern, focusing on AI in business, product development, and venture capital. He is also an SDA Fellow at SDA Bocconi in Milan and a Professor at the SDA Bocconi Asia Center in Mumbai, where he conducts research in Operations and technology management. His work has been published in leading international academic journals, and he is a regular contributor to major Greek newspapers and widely read international platforms. He holds degrees from MIT and UCLA, including a Ph.D. in Operations and Technology Management.
