Manolis is the CEO & Co-Founder of Insurancemarket.gr, the leading online platform for comparing and purchasing insurance products in Greece, which has transformed the way consumers select and buy insurance. Over more than 15 years of his career, he has played a pivotal role in the digital transformation of the Greek insurance market, with a focus on continuous innovation, leveraging technology, and enhancing the customer experience.
Alongside his studies in Economics at the University of Piraeus, he began his entrepreneurial journey at just 18 years old by founding his first insurance brokerage company. This path led him a few years later to the creation of Insurancemarket.gr (2011), which has since become the undisputed leader in Greece’s online insurance market.
He has attended top leadership and entrepreneurship programs at Harvard Business School (Scaling Entrepreneurial Ventures, 2016) and INSEAD (Leadership Scale Program, 2022). He has also been trained in Agile & Scrum methodologies, as well as in the Entrepreneurial Innovation program of the Dutch Innovation Boosters. Since 2014, he has been a member of the global Endeavor Entrepreneurs network, has been included in  Fortune Greece’s “40 under 40” list, is a member of the Fortune Greece Network, has served on the Sales Advisory Board of Eurolife FFH, and in 2025 was honored with the title of Top Elite ESG CEO for his commitment to sustainable development.
Beyond the business arena, Manolis has also distinguished himself in sports. He is a European Champion in sailing in the Finn class, having won numerous national and international titles. He has completed two marathons (Athens and Rotterdam) and has participated in endurance cycling races of up to 200 kilometers, drawing from sports the discipline and resilience that define his leadership journey.
