Cristian Bușoi is holding the position of Secretary of State within the Ministry of Energy of Romania. During 2007-2024 he was MEP and between 2019 and 2024 he served as the President of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) in the European Parliament. In 2022, Cristian Silviu Bușoi was named, by The Parliament Magazine, the most influential MEP in the field of energy due to his significant contribution to the European Union's energy policy.
