Speaker Bio

Paul Taylor is a senior visiting fellow at the European Pollicy Centre, working mostly on defence and security, and a freelance columnist for The Guardian. He was previously a foreign correspondent and editor for Reuters for 39 years in Europe and the Middle East, a columnist for the International New York Times and POLITICO, and a senior fellow at Friends of Europe. A graduate of Balliol College, Oxford, he is a joint UK-French citizen and lives in France.
