Speaker Bio

Mr. Gerasimos Tzeis has been the Managing Director of Atradius Credit Insurance N.V. in Greece since 2004, a position he continues to hold. He began his professional career in 1998 at the Greek branch of Gerling Konzern Speziale, where he held various positions until 2003 and gained significant experience in the field of credit insurance. Born in Athens in 1970, he studied Mathematics at the University of Ioannina (B.Sc. in Mathematics) and later completed his postgraduate studies in Actuarial Science at Cass Business School in London (City University of London), earning both a Diploma and an M.Sc. in Actuarial Science. In 2022, he expanded his responsibilities by assuming leadership of the Romanian market, further strengthening Atradius’ presence in Southeastern Europe. With deep expertise in risk assessment and international credit guarantees, Mr. Tzeis has played a key role in the growth and consolidation of Atradius in the Greek market, providing the foundation for his broader regional leadership. He also contributes actively to the insurance sector as a Board Member of the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies and Chair of its Credit & Guarantees Committee.
