Speaker Bio

Milja Kalliosaari serves as the Government Relations Manager at IQM Quantum Computers, Europe’s leader in building quantum computers. In this role, she spearheads policy-level engagement across Europe and monitors global technological developments. A recognized figure in the Finnish and international technology policy landscape, Milja co-authored the Finnish National Quantum Strategy led by the Ministry for Economic Affairs and Employment. She also serves as Finland’s National Delegate to the NATO Transatlantic Quantum Community and sits on several committees shaping EU and Finnish digitalization policy. In recognition of these contributions, the University of Helsinki named her one of their 30 Under 30. Holding a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Helsinki, Milja bridges the gap between public agencies and the private sector. Deeply committed to addressing global challenges, she works to translate policy into actionable results, bridging the gap between theoretical frameworks and tangible growth in the innovation landscape.
