Speaker Bio

Vasilis Chaloulakos is the CEO of ICEYE Hellas and supervises the broader Balkan and eastern Mediterranean region. In parallel with establishing ICEYE’s offices and production facilities in Greece, Vasilis managed the successful execution of the project for the build and launch of the first two Greek microsatellites, as part of the Hellenic National Microsatellite Program, in collaboration with the Hellenic Ministry of Digital Governance and the European Space Agency. He returned to Athens in October 2024 after more than 12 years abroad, primarily in London, where he worked as an investment banker at Deutsche Bank, specializing in mergers and acquisitions in the technology and telecommunications sectors. He holds a degree from the University of Piraeus and postgraduate degrees from the Athens University of Economics and Business and the London Business School.
