Stefano is a Managing Director and Partner based in Boston Consulting Group’s Milan office. Stefano Cazzaniga is a member of the Health Care and Insurance practices at Boston Consulting Group. He leads that practice's work in payers and providers for Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Israel. Stefano has worked with clients on commercial excellence and operating model redesign in the diagnostics space, digital transformation of patient journeys, transparency of outcomes and quality performance management, value-based health care, hospital strategy and operations lean hospital transformation, elderly care, and health insurance strategy and reforms. Stefano is a medical doctor with over 20 years of experience in medicine. Before joining the firm he was a researcher in pharmaco economics and a health consultant, and well as the General Manager at a 750 beds/ €350M Academic Medical Center. He has also held positions at McKinsey & Company and Becton Dickinson. Stefano holds an MPA, earned with full grades and honor.
