Speaker Bio

Petros Ioannidis is the founder and political analyst of aboutpeople. He studied Politics with International Relations at Lancaster University (BA) and Political Communication at City University (MA). His analyses, articles, and interviews have been published in Greek and international media, as well as in academic journals. He is the author of the book 2009: The Last Elections of the Metapolitefsi (Athens Voice Books, 2017) and co-editor of the collective volumes 2019: The First Elections after the Memorandum (Papazisis, 2020), Half a Century of Elections (Polis, 2023), The World in 2035 (Pedio, 2025) and Half a Century of Elections in Greece (Palgrave, 2025).
