Speaker Bio

Stefano Mallia is a Partner at EMCS Advisory, a firm based in Malta which is specialized in EU and Economic advisory and has been involved in various EU evaluations and impact studies. Stefano holds an Honours degree in Business Management and a Masters degree in European Studies. He has been involved in EU affairs since 1998 and has participated in a number of key studies analysing the impact of EU membership on various sectors of the Maltese economy. He has also contributed as key expert in a number of position papers prepared during accession negotiations with the EU. Stefano Mallia has been a member of the EESC since 2010 and was President of the Employers' Group since 2020 with his term coming to an end in September 2025.
