Speaker Bio

Yannis Tsakiris is Vice President at the European Investment Bank (EIB), with a distinguished career spanning over 25 years in the public and private sector finance, international development, and venture capital. He currently leads EIB’s strategic policy and investment initiatives in energy efficiency, affordable housing, and urban development, with a broad geographical focus covering both EU and non-EU countries. In addition, he oversees key internal functions related to financial instruments, banking standards, and advisory services, while managing relationships with major international and EU financial institutions.
