Speaker Bio

Michail N. Pikramenos is Vice President at the Council of State. Professor of Administrative Law at Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Director General at the National School of Judges (2013-2016). Member of Legislative Drafting Committees of the Ministry of Justice and of the Ministry of Administrative Reform (2002-2016).

Representative of Greece:

a) in the European Committee for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) (2011-2018)

b) in the Group of Independent Experts of the Assembly of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe

c) in the European Network of Judicial Training (EJTN) (2013-2016)

d) in the Network of Supreme Courts which was created from the European Court of Human Rights (2017-2018).

He has written monographs and articles in the fields of administrative law, constitutional law and of history of the administrative and constitutional institutions.
