Speaker Bio

Liliana Śmiech is Director General for International Affairs at Ludovika University of Public Service and Chairwoman of the Foundation Council of the Warsaw Institute. In addition, she holds research and advisory roles at the Krakow University of Economics, the Polish Economic Society, and the Institute of Energy Strategy. She previously served as President of the Warsaw Institute and currently sits on the Foundation Council of the Central and Eastern European Council and the Advisory Board of the Future Potentials Observatory. She is a graduate of the Krakow University of Economics and holds a degree in Energy Studies from the Warsaw School of Economics. Her areas of expertise include energy transition, energy security, and geopolitics, with a focus on strategic foresight and regional cooperation.
