Dr Burcu Ozcelik is a Senior Research Fellow and leads The Middle East, North Africa and Turkey in the New Global Order Programme at RUSI. Burcu holds a PhD in Politics and International Studies from the University of Cambridge where she subsequently taught Conflict, Peacebuilding, and the Politics of the Middle East. Her research has been published in Government and Opposition, Ethnic and Racial Studies, Democracy Theory, and the Journal of Peacebuilding and Development.
